Esercizio studio del limite 9
In questo esercizio studio il limite per x che tende a 2 della funzione
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{\sqrt{x^2+5} - \sqrt{x^3+1}}{2x-x^2} $$
Il limite è una forma indeterminata del tipo 0/0
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{\sqrt{x^2+5} - \sqrt{x^3+1}}{2x-x^2} = \frac{0}{0} $$
Per rimuovere la forma indeterminata razionalizzo il numeratore
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{\sqrt{x^2+5} - \sqrt{x^3+1}}{2x-x^2} \cdot \frac{\sqrt{x^2+5} + \sqrt{x^3+1}}{\sqrt{x^2+5} + \sqrt{x^3+1}} $$
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{\sqrt{x^2+5}\sqrt{x^2+5} - \sqrt{x^3+1} \sqrt{x^3+1} }{2x-x^2} \cdot \frac{1}{\sqrt{x^2+5} + \sqrt{x^3+1}} $$
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{\sqrt{(x^2+5)^2} - \sqrt{(x^3+1)^2} }{2x-x^2} \cdot \frac{1}{\sqrt{x^2+5} + \sqrt{x^3+1}} $$
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{ x^2+5 - x^3-1 }{2x-x^2} \cdot \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{1}{\sqrt{x^2+5} + \sqrt{x^3+1}} $$
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{ x^2 - x^3+4 }{2x-x^2} \cdot \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{1}{\sqrt{x^2+5} + \sqrt{x^3+1}} $$
Il secondo limite tende a 1/6
$$ [ \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{ x^2 - x^3+4 }{2x-x^2} ] \cdot \frac{1}{6} $$
$$ \frac{1}{6} \cdot \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{ x^2 - x^3+4 }{2x-x^2} $$
L'altro limite è ancora una forma indeterminata 0/0
Per uscirne semplifico il numeratore usando il metodo di Ruffini
$$ \frac{1}{6} \cdot \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{ x^2 - x^3+4 }{2x-x^2} $$
$$ \frac{1}{6} \cdot \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{ (x-2) \cdot ( -x^2 - x -2) }{2x-x^2} $$
Nota. Usando il metodo di Ruffini il polinomio x2-x3+4 posso scriverlo nella forma equivalente (x-2)(-x2-x-2) $$ \begin{array}{c|cr} & \text{-1} & \text{1} & \text{0} & \text{4} \\ 2 & & -2 & -2 & -4 \\ \hline & -1 & -1 & -2 & 0 \end{array} $$
Riscrivo il denominatore (2x-x2) in una forma equivalente (-x)·(x-2) per poter semplificare la frazione
$$ \frac{1}{6} \cdot \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{ (x-2) \cdot ( -x^2 - x -2) }{(-x) \cdot (x-2)} $$
Poi semplifico (x-2) al numeratore e al denominatore
$$ \frac{1}{6} \cdot \lim_{x \rightarrow 2} \frac{ ( -x^2 - x -2) }{(-x) } $$
Ora il limite è calcolabile ed è pari a 4
$$ \frac{1}{6} \cdot \frac{-8}{-2} $$
$$ \frac{1}{6} \cdot 4 $$
$$ \frac{4}{6} $$
$$ \frac{2}{3} $$
Il limite della funzione è 2/3.
E così via.
