Esercizio studio del limite 15
Devo risolvere il limite della funzione seguente per x che tende a infinito
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow +\infty} x+2-\sqrt{x^2+4x+8} $$
Il limite è una forma indeterminata del tipo infinito meno infinito ∞-∞
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow +\infty} x+2-\sqrt{x^2+4x+8} = \infty - \infty $$
Per uscire dalla forma indeterminata moltiplico e divido per la somma dei termini
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow +\infty} x+2-\sqrt{x^2+4x+8} \cdot \frac{x+2+\sqrt{x^2+4x+8}}{x+2+\sqrt{x^2+4x+8}} $$
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow +\infty} \frac{(x+2-\sqrt{x^2+4x+8}) \cdot (x+2+\sqrt{x^2+4x+8})}{x+2+\sqrt{x^2+4x+8}} $$
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow +\infty} \frac{(x+2)^2 -(\sqrt{x^2+4x+8})^2}{x+2+\sqrt{x^2+4x+8}} $$
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow +\infty} \frac{(x^2+4x+4) -(x^2+4x+8)}{x+2+\sqrt{x^2+4x+8}} $$
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow +\infty} \frac{x^2+4x+4 -x^2-4x-8}{x+2+\sqrt{x^2+4x+8}} $$
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow +\infty} \frac{-4}{x+2+\sqrt{x^2+4x+8}} $$
La forma indeterminata è scomparsa.
Ora il limite è calcolabile.
$$ \lim_{x \rightarrow +\infty} \frac{-4}{x+2+\sqrt{x^2+4x+8}} = \frac{-4}{\infty + \infty} = \frac{-4}{\infty} = 0 $$
Il limite della funzione per x→∞ è zero.
E così via.
